Pool cooler may not work for your pool If the return jets are located on the floor of the pool. It is designed for pools with standard return jets on the side wall (slightly below water level).

I have read that fountaining pool water like this raises Ph drastically. Anyone experience this? Thanks
Question by: ankur on Oct 21, 2021, 12:06 AM
See trouble Free pool forum copied and pasted here:
"I've not seen a reason as to why aeration causes ph to increase. I just recently converted to a SCG pool, and the water is great,
except for a steady increase in ph that I knock down with muratic acid.
The aeration I have is from the return jets, and I believe it is caused by some air-sucking joints near the pump.
The reason I think this is the source is that when the pump is turned off, water drips out fairly heavily from some of the pipe connections between
the Jandy valves and the pump intake. I assume this could also be a source of air inside the system. "

Question by: Ryan Grote on Oct 21, 2021, 12:06 AM
Our pool coolers connect to the jets on the walls, not on the floor. As long as you have jet returns on the walls you would be fine.

This connects where the eyelet jets are on the walls of the in-ground pool. If you do not have those then this will not connect to your pool.
