I ordered the 3/8 DIY kits last year. Can I go to the .020 nozzle heads for more water output and what size threads are on the ones that I already have?
Question by: Doug Corkern on Oct 21, 2021, 12:06 AM
The threading would be 10/24 thread, and yes, you can use the .020 nozzle.

I plan to use a mister for a furn that gets too much sun. I need about 80' of tubing. Should I use 3/8" or will 1/4" tubing with two misters work?
Question by: Roy on Oct 21, 2021, 12:06 AM
For longer runs above 75ft, 3/8'' misting kit is recommended to maintain proper flow.

I'm preparing to purchase the 100'/25 nozzle DIY kit. However, I need 23 of the misting tees and only 2 of the elbow nozzles. Is it possible to "trade" out two of the elbows for two tees, still providing the same 25 nozzles? Thank you

Has anyone had any issues with the instructions? We bought the high-pressure misting system with additional tubing to reach 60'. The instructions say to cut the tube every 2' and the kit only comes with 20 nozzles. The calculation is incorrect. We ran out of nozzles and still have heaps of tubing left. I'm told to buy more nozzles but yet it states do not add more than 20 nozzles for 60' of tubing. What am I missing?
Question by: TJoiner on Oct 21, 2021, 12:06 AM
There's typically around 20-22 for the feed line (line up to the first nozzle), so or 20 nozzles you'd be using 40 feet and then the remaining is the feed line. Now, you may not need that much feed line as everyone's set up is a little different.

For a pergola, 12 ft x 16 ft, does the nozzles have to be placed around the entire perimeter, one side, two sides? or is there a recommended number of nozzles per a given area.
Question by: Kevon on Oct 21, 2021, 12:06 AM
low pressure is recommended to have nozzle spacing of three feet apart. If the pergola is completely open and not next to a structure then all 4 sides are recommended.
