What should i do to fix this?

You can remove the tubing from the fitting and make a fresh straight cut of around half an inch. Firmly push in the tubing back into the fitting.

What about hardware? What do you recommend we use to affix the clips to patio wood structure and to heavy gauge wire that is hanging over patio?
Question by: Rob on Oct 21, 2021, 12:06 AM
Screws that are good enough for wood should suffice for the patio area, the heavy gauge wire if it can take a hanging clip, you can choose that in drop down menu here: https://mistcooling.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=clamp

How wet will patio furniture, cushions, deck etc. get with these going for an extended period of time?
Question by: Liz on Oct 21, 2021, 12:06 AM
Height placement can play a part on the possible residual dampness. We recommend 10 plus feet on low pressure.
Answer by: Admin on Nov 30, 2021, 3:29 AM
I'm looking at this kit. My supply runs up a support column. At the top I need to split the system to go left and right. Can I put a dependable splitter or tee to solve this problem
Question by: Tracy miller on Oct 21, 2021, 12:06 AM
You would need the proper 3-way coupling tee, and new plug ends.
Answer by: Admin on Nov 30, 2021, 3:28 AM
I need to make 90 angle turn to follow the eve line. then cap ends and tees for the water connection feed . Do you have fitting for this?
Question by: Edwin P Wood on Oct 21, 2021, 12:06 AM
For a 90 degree bend:The end will either already have a plug to end the line or and elbow end. If you are referring to capping the nozzle itself, you need a nozzle plug, 10/24 thread. MC54030
Answer by: Admin on Nov 30, 2021, 3:27 AM
This product says 60ft of actual misting line. I only need 30ft. If I trim the line and seal the end will it effect the operation?
Question by: Jason on Oct 21, 2021, 12:06 AM
We recommend getting the proper unions before making any type of adjustment to the misting line.
We also recommend doing the DIY kit so that you can lay it out as needed:

What is the orifice size for those 20 nozzles? .012, .015, or what?
Question by: Matthew Schneider on Oct 21, 2021, 12:06 AM
.015 is the orifice size.
Answer by: Admin on Nov 30, 2021, 3:25 AM
What is the major differences between the patio, mid and high misting systems in terms of cooling, quality and life span ?? Does it mean that the high pressure misting system better than the other types with quality of cooling, water usage, etc??
Question by: nawaf on Oct 21, 2021, 12:06 AM
While high pressure systems cost more, they typically have lower water consumption. The higher the pressure, the smaller the nozzle, the finer the mist, the faster it evaporates cooling the air in the area.
Answer by: Admin on Nov 30, 2021, 3:24 AM
I purchased item #MC575-MC544, 44' Patio mister. Is a filter recommended? Which filter?
Question by: Donna Brownell on Oct 21, 2021, 12:06 AM
Answer by: Admin on Nov 30, 2021, 3:23 AM
Is it possible to replace the nozzles with ones that emit a finer mist? The system works fine but the mist is a little heavy for our placement.
Question by: Richard Fox on Oct 21, 2021, 12:06 AM
Nozzles that produce a finer mist typically require a pump that increases the water pressure behind it. You can always attempt to see how well it works with a 10/24 thread .012 orifice nozzle, but it should have at least a 200 PSI pump behind it.
Answer by: Admin on Nov 30, 2021, 3:22 AM

The 18 nozzle patio mister system has a 10' supply line, but we need a least 25'. Is there an extension to the supply line? or maybe if I buy the 20 nozzle, it would be long enough? The only thing I'm wondering is, with the 20 nozzle system, can we plug the misters that would be going up the side of the trellis? Can you help me know what would be best? THANK YOU!
Question by: KJ on Oct 21, 2021, 12:06 AM
The un-assembled kit with push lock fittings - https://mistcooling.com/misting-system-slip-lock-fittings-un-assembled.html - can be designed to your requirements. For blocking unwanted mist, we recommend misting nozzle plugs : https://mistcooling.com/nozzle-plug-np-10-24-thread-plug.html

what about putting this on my cabin deck with well pump ?
Question by: Mike on Oct 21, 2021, 12:06 AM
As long as you can achieve water pressure of 40 psi or greater. We'd also recommend a calcium inhibitor.

Answer by: Admin on Nov 30, 2021, 3:21 AM
Can you make a 90 degree turn without damaging line? Also, can it be installed on a deck rail and turn upward.
Question by: Tim Caldwell on Oct 21, 2021, 12:06 AM
It would be best to do an elbow if you want a tight turn, otherwise, there would be a bit of a curve as you don't want the line to kink. https://mistcooling.com/plastic-elbow-for-misting-systems.html
Answer by: Admin on Dec 27, 2021, 4:28 PM
