Now enjoy the outdoors more than ever! Turn an existing fan into a cooling mist fan with Mistcooling's Stainless Steel Mist Ring! This High-Pressure Misting Fan Ring is the perfect solution for cooling hot work areas, restaurant or home patios, and even barns on those harsh summer days.
Any ordinary fan, regardless of its size, simply moves hot air from one location to another. By adding mist, the same fan will now circulate significantly cooler air throughout the area. By adding Stainless Steel Mist Ring in front of your existing fan, refreshingly cool mist will be released into the air. Your fan, in combination with heat, will now help facilitate instant evaporation of this mist. Thus, dramatically reducing the surrounding temperatures by as much as 30 degrees! Each misting fan ring is hand-welded using industrial-grade rigid 316 Stainless Steel Tubing and comes with a Lifetime warranty! Mist ring works with any of our Mid and High pressure misting pumps of up to 2000PSI.
Our stainless steel mist fan ring is our best-selling misting fan accessory for outdoor cooling and misting fans. Note: Nozzles are NOT included. All Stainless Steel misting rings require 10/24 Thread Nozzles. Mistcooling.com can also supply Stainless Steel Mist Rings with 12/24 UNC Nozzle threads. Custom fabricated stainless steel mist rings and manifolds are also available on request.

do i have to purchase the mid pressure misting pump separately or will this work without?
Question by: Amanda Brooks on Oct 21, 2021, 12:06 AM
If you want a finer mist, then yes, you would need to get a mid pressure pump. This can be used with a standard garden hose adapter for a low pressure misting, but the mist will not be as fine. Make sure to order appropriate nozzles as well.
Answer by: Admin on Nov 30, 2021, 2:42 AM
Can you attach this to a hose or do you need one of those pumps?
Question by: Jim on Oct 21, 2021, 12:06 AM
You can connect this to a hose, you just need to purchase the proper garden hose adapter. You also need to purchase nozzles to go with this.
If you decided to do a pump then make sure that the tubing you get is rated for the pump.

If I am installing the 18 nozzle Patio Misting system, could I add a low pressure fan mister to the system? What additional parts would I need to do that? Are there couplings of some kind to attach the fan mister to the patio misting system? Are the nozzles on the 18 nozzle system brass or stainless steel? What is the purpose of the In-Line Water Filter? Are there caps available for when I am only using the sitting area on my covered patio and not the grill/table area?
Question by: Patti on Oct 21, 2021, 12:06 AM
Yes, Depending on where you're placing the fan in relation to the line, a standard coupling tee: https://www.mistcooling.com/3-way-tee-mp.html
The nozzles are typically brass with a stainless steel orifice.
The inline water filter is to reduce sediment that may be in the water from clogging nozzles.
You can remove the misting heads and put in plugs if there are area's you don't want misted: https://www.mistcooling.com/nozzle-plug-np.html

We use well water so the pressure will vary 10-15 PSI but can always be kept above 45 PSI will that be a problem?
Question by: Ron on Oct 21, 2021, 12:06 AM
As long as the PSI is 45 or above, that is fine. You may see some fluctuations in the misting coming from the line.

I have 30ft of area I want to cover with misters which is about 25ft from a water source. It seems your 18 nozzle kit would be what I need . Do you agree or what would I need to do this.
Question by: Joe Petrocelli on Oct 21, 2021, 12:06 AM
We typically go off the linear feet, and the spacing between nozzles is 3 feet for low pressure and 2 feet for high/mid pressure.
Answer by: Admin on Nov 30, 2021, 2:31 AM
since this is not med or high pressure will it make the outdoor furniture damp or wet?
Question by: randy on Oct 21, 2021, 12:06 AM
It all depends on the distance to the furniture from the fan.
